who can forget Y2K? perhaps "millennials" don't remember the iconic moment when on 12-31-1999, the technology-time-wizards were absolutely unsure of HOW EXACTLY computer programs of 1900s were going to react to date+time change into 01-01-2000. Hype was ridic overkill. As retrowavers from another time (the actual 80s), it was a literal doomsday scenario. All computers crash, power grids of the🌎all fail, banks ledgers compromised, etc.. and then..AND THEN.. AND THEN?!?! NOTHING happened lol Shane Dangers

I usually don’t like rap much and prefer hip hop but I enjoyed most of this. I think what really makes it work for me is how in the first half of the album the rap songs are mixed with more chill downtempo type of songs and artists like Tom’s Diner and Dido. I wasn’t feeling the latter part of the mix too much because it was pretty much all rap but I like the last track. I like old school guys like Scarface though. I like 8 tracks out of 20. I would listen to this album again. Dionysus Virus
